My Story
My journey began after completing my A/L examinations. Like many young dreamers, I did not start with expensive equipment or a clear path. What I had was passion, curiosity, and a strong desire to create something meaningful. I started my career in graphic design and spent countless hours learning, practicing, and refining my skills. Step by step, I took on small projects and gradually began accepting photography assignments.
The early days were not easy—there were months with very few bookings and many financial challenges. Instead of giving up, I chose to move forward, learn more, and invest in becoming better with every single shoot. That journey led to the creation of Miller D Photography—a brand built on passion, creativity, and dedication.
Today, I am proud to serve clients across Sri Lanka, capturing weddings, portraits, and life’s most meaningful celebrations. Each moment I photograph is a reminder of how far this dream has come. Success, to me, is not about how easy the path is; it is about having the courage to keep moving forward.
